Maldivian traditional snack US$ 1~

When you visit Maldives, please try various types of traditional chips! You will find it in souvenir shops in Male, the capital city of Maldives. My favourite is "Non sugar Ala chips". (Photo: Keyo = Banana, Ala = Taro root)

The chips are made by ladies in the local island and buying these chips helps local industry. It's yummy and healthy too!To my surprise, chips were not broken even after my long flight from Male to Tokyo!
