Waste to product: Compacting

ECO FRIENDS (Maldivian local NGO) members compact the bottles into cubes by using compressing machine.

There are two hundreds of bottles in a bag, and a cube is made with five bags of bottles. The weight of one cube is 150 kg.

They often collect a hundred of bags a day. It means 20,000 bottles are discarded in Male everyday!
